Event "Mobile and Game-based Learning", Karditsa, October 10, 2014

The University of Thessaly in collaboration with the Institute for Research and Development Thessaly, the Center for Development Thessaly (AKETH), and the 2nd Vocational High School of Karditsa organized on October 10 an event on the promotion of game-based and mobile learning. Karditsa is a town in western Thessaly. The event was very well attended by 85 individuals, in their vast majority educators in secondary or vocational education, educational administrators, and school consults.

LINC was formally presented in the event. The audience had the opportunity to reflect on the rational of the project, to use communities as well as engaging learning activities designed by joint execution by school community members towards building an environment that is supportive and positive for learners towards preventing ESL. In addition, the audience had the opportunity to see the LINC activities as well as a demo of the LINC on-line community services.
