LINC at "Europe in Motion" event, Trikala, Greece, 22/11/2014

The "Europe in Motion" event was organized in Trikala, Greece on November 22, 2014 by the Secondary Education Administrative Authorities of the area of Trikala. The event was co-organized by the Regional Administrative Authorities of Thessaly. The purpose of the event was to expose teachers in primary and secondary education to European initiatives on enhancing learning. The Erasmus+ programme was also presented. UTH was invited to deliver a presentation on Life Long Learning projects and demonstrate how project activities and outcomes related to secondary education. The LINC project, its objectives, and activities were presented in the event. Specifically, an overview of the community was given; the learning activities were also emphasized and described one by one. This includes all 10 learning activities introduced by LINC project partners such as the stargazing activity, the cultural treasure hunt activity, the reversed classroom activity, the building ICT skills activity, the connection education to real life activity, the understanding the value of education activity, the s-troll walk, the Arduino programming activity, and more.

The event was well attended by 150 teachers and policy makers, which constitute one of the main stakeholder groups of the LINC project.
