Evaluation activities in the University of Thessaly started in October, 2014 engaging 130 higher education students that are enrolled in the course “Technology in Education” offered by the Department of Computer Engineering. The evaluation activities repeated in October 2015 with a new group of 140 students. A total of 270 students (over the proposal foreseen 30) have been engaged with the LINC social networking intervention through obligatory projects that are credited in the course final grade. 15 higher education students enrolled in the pedagogical department of the University of Thessaly were also provided their feedback as far as the LINC pedagogical intervention is concerned. This brought the total number of participants to 285. The students work in small groups monitoring the way community services and social networking tools are being used, reflecting upon the design of the community and the activities, and exploring whether the educational targets set are met.
